Shauntay Grantis a writer, journalist and spoken-word performer with roots in Preston, Nova Scotia. She is musical director of the Nova Scotia Mass Choir and the host of CBC Radio-Two's "All the Best."

Susan Tookeis an award-winning artist whose work has been exhibited across North America. She has illustrated numerous books for children. Susan is from New Jersey but now lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
